Why change the winning formula? Like illegal shebeens in townships that raised families, cannabis has been farmed and produced without any legislature, and or any form of rules except it’s illegalities. Therefore, why is the regulatory bodies not giving farming license like for all farmers as it’s uses has proved best results?
Secondly, the plantations have been there without and technologies or regulations. In that case, why do we need to pro-long the process?
Does this have anything to do with elite few who wants to create a market and employ the poor for their own growth or it is focusing on inclusively benefit all those who can farm it? I ask this because, we grow vegies, fruits and mealies in our backyards for known reasons while the farmers and growing in hectors for more commission. Why are we not allowing the needy to use these for economic emancipation and development?
